Vancouver-based non-profit organization S.U.C.C.E.S.S. will be doubling the number of foreign offices this year, officials said Saturday.

SUCCESS, one of the biggest immigrant service groups in Canada, currently has oversea offices in Seoul and Taipei. Doug Purdie, Chair of SUCCESS, announced at the organization’s Bridge to SUCCESS Gala the group will open two new offices in Beijing and Shanghai later this year.

Officials say this will greatly expand SUCCESS ‘s ability to help new Canadians throughout the Asia Pacific region. In addition, officials say new online resources, along with the two new locations, will allow new Canadians in regions like Japan, India and Southeast Asia to receive pre-arrival services.

This is SUCCESS’s first major overseas expansion in years and is the culmination of several years of work, officials say.
