Human Capital Strategies has been contracted to conduct a Labour Market Integration research project. The goal of the project is to better understand Surrey’s current and looming labour market needs, explore the labour market barriers faced by Surrey employers and immigrants, and identify solutions to improve immigrant labour market outcomes.
All research and consultation conducted will be summarized and developed into key findings reports. The findings will be used to guide the Surrey LIP Committee and inform the development of both the Immigrant and the Refugee Settlement and Integration Strategic Plans. Findings will also be shared with other community stakeholders and posted on the Surry LIP website. The final report will be available in November.
