This summer, Vancouver Foundation surveyed 7,980 British Columbians on the state of community participation across the province. They wanted to know if people are participating less in their community or just differently; who’s most active and in what ways; and what motivates or limits them from doing more.
When people are involved and have opportunities to influence and improve where they live, communities are stronger and more resilient. In this spirit, Vancouver Foundation is excited to share its Vital Signs 2019 report, in which a deep examination of community participation has been conducted.
