DEADLINE EXTENDED! Surrey Refugee Youth Planning Team – Call for Applicants!

This is a leadership opportunity for refugee youth from ages 18-25 living in Surrey to work together to host two youth events.

Applicants should be available for meetings every Monday from 5 pm – 7 pm from February 13 until March 20. Meetings and events will take place in the Surrey City Centre, easily accessible by Surrey Central Skytrain station.

Applicants should be available for meetings every Monday from 5 pm – 7 pm from February 13 until March 20. Meetings and events will take place in the Surrey City Centre, easily accessible by Surrey Central Skytrain station.

The planning team will plan and host a Newcomer Youth Forum and an Art Exchange Collaboration, taking place near the end of March. 

  • Newcomer Youth Forum will invite immigrant and refugee youth ages 13-25 to voice their vision and ideas for creating an inclusive community in Surrey
  • Art Exchange Collaboration will invite Syrian youth to share and connect with various cultural youth groups

If you would like to contribute your ideas, develop your skills, and connect with community members, apply today to join the Surrey Refugee Youth Planning Team.

 Deadline to apply is Friday, February 3rd MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH

Selected applicants will be contacted the week of February 6th.
