Over 1,000 Canadian newcomers attended the 4th annual Career, Education & Settlement Fair presented by Canadian Immigrant and Scotiabank, in association with Centennial College. The day long event took place Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and saw interactive sessions by top employers including Scotiabank and Bell Canada, among others. Thousands of immigrants arrive in Canada yearly with ambitions for their family’s future. However, many have little knowledge of the reality of Canadian living — from continuing education to obtaining employment and getting settled. Canadian Immigrant has been a guiding star for such newcomers through its print and online publications. The fair expands its support of Canadian newcomers with comprehensive interactive sessions packed with useful information.
