Mechatronic Systems Engineering Student Society (MSESS) and Software Systems Student Society (SSSS) are pleased to host SystemsFair 2019: SFU Surrey’s Tech Career Fair at Simon Fraser University’s Surrey Campus. Located in the heart of Surrey, SFU’s Surrey campus is an emerging technology hub where more than 800 students are working towards their degrees in Mechatronic Systems Engineering (MSE) and Software Systems (SoSy).
The MSE program offers students a unique opportunity to learn about mechanical, electronic, software, and systems engineering, while the SoSy program offers practical and relevant software skills that can be transferred from the classroom setting and directly applied into the industry. SFU Surrey’s Applied Sciences alumni are experts in mechatronics, automation, robotics, embedded systems, safety-critical applications, and can work across multiple disciplines. They work in organizations ranging from small start-up companies all the way to Fortune 500 companies. Increased emphasis on effective communication and teamwork within the MSE and SoSy programs is what sets our students up for successful careers.
The main goal behind SystemsFair (previously known as MechExpo) is to provide students and employers with an efficient job fair wherein students have the chance to go around and learn about different companies.
