The Inclusion Project and Excellence Canada will embark on a one-hour session to discuss racial equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI) across the public and private sector.
The session will focus on key themes, namely:
• intersectionality, systemic racism, discrimination in the workplace, power, and privilege.
It will also include practical steps for leading institutional change through REDI in ways that improve:
• diversity, promote equity, and increase inclusivity for Indigenous, Black, and diverse equity-deserving groups.
Going beyond mere anti-racism training, our goal is to initiate a conversation, listen, and together with public and corporate-sector employers, and larger non-profits, uncover ways to benchmark the diversity of their current workforce and co-develop pathways for engaging talent from under-represented groups.
