Vancouver-based Ashton College is offering full-time tuition bursaries, worth up to $8,000, to new immigrants through the Lilian To Bursary for Immigrants, sponsored by Canadian Immigrant magazine. Applications are now being — deadline is July 31, 2017.
Newcomers often face many barriers when it comes to re-establishing their careers in Canada. Often, the main obstacle between an immigrant and employment is recognized credentials. That’s why Ashton College, in partnership with Canadian Immigrant magazine, has been offering this bursary program for newcomers since 2005.
